Seasonal Displays in the Home

I’ve always been about simplicity. Living in a small space helps keep that impulse alive because it quickly gets cluttered and overwhelmed with “stuff”! I’ve spoken a few times on the blog about how we’ve never used a nature table. We just didn’t have the room or visual space to include it in our home, BUT I love a good seasonal window!

We have one window in our home, right beside our dining room table, that is always adorned with crafts, lights and seasonal treasures. It changes with the seasons by way of dangling decorations from a stick hung off the window frame, kite paper decorations on the windows, and candles and treasures on the window ledge. Here are some of the windows we’ve created over the years.

With Halloween around the corner I wanted to share some printable PDF tutorials of origami and kite paper crafts you can hang on your windows as a simple decoration. Just click on button below the images below for the download.

If you’d like to see a video tutorial of the pumpkin folding, you can find that on my last post about creating a gentle Halloween, A Happy Halloween 2023

I would love to see your creations! Send me an email with a picture of your window, or tag me on Instagram @growing.together.in.freedom

Until next time,
Marina
