Continuing our measurements block, I focused on fractions with my eldest. We titled it Fractions of the Year and discovered the portion seasons, months, schooling and vacations use in the year. We also played with the months, breaking the year into as many even parts as we could without breaking their individual wholes.
Then my eldest realized he had forgotten how to print the number eight in one pencil stroke, so we through in some for drawing as a reminder 😉
After main lesson it was time to make lunch, with both children making their own meals. Eldest pancakes and Little, macaroni noodles with cheese!
